SPINNER CUFFLINKS
These exquisitely styled and detailed cufflinks replicate the three eared ‘knock off’ wheel spinner securing nut used by the D-type.
The spinner itself is cast in bronze using metal from an original circa 1955 D-type wheel spinner, whilst the central hub onto which the spinner is attached is cast in aluminium using metal from an original circa 1955 D-type wheel centre. Such is the detail that the spinners are actually handed left and right and threaded so that the spinner can be unscrewed and removed.
This is a limited edition of 174 pairs of cufflinks, one physical link representing each wheel on the 87 D-type and XKSS cars built by Jaguar. Each piece is engraved with its limited edition number and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
