The propeller blade sections are in brass using donor metal from a piece of the Hurricane's Merlin engine ignition harness. The backing discs (which have P2725 and TM-B, the Hurricane's serial number and squadron code, cast into the rear) plus arms are in solid 18ct gold.
But the real icing on the cake is that the central bosses have tiny bearings within enabling the propellers to be spun!
We are hugely excited about the TM-B Spinners which are surely one of, if not the, most spectacular aeronautic cufflinks ever created. But not only are they uniquely designed and beautifully engineered, they also incorporate donor metal with such an incredible link to Battle of Britain history.
The cufflinks, which are limited to just 200 pairs, are presented in beautiful burgundy coloured hand made leather cases together with forty page provenance booklet and certificate of authenticity.
