CONCORDE FROM CONCORDE
ESSENCE OF FORM CUFFLINKS
In tribute to one of the most recognised of all aerial icons, Concorde, we have crafted some spectacular cufflinks which uniquely incorporate actual metal from Concorde.
The miniature sculptures on our Concorde From Concorde Essence of Form cufflinks are made using metal from upper rudder component "VW23" which was manufactured in 1976 at BAC Weybridge as one of the original contracted components. The rudder was initially fitted to Concorde G-BOAG in 1977 before being transferred to Concorde flagship G-BOAC, upon which airframe it spent the next twelve years prior to ultimately being fitted to G-BOAB. 'VW23' was finally struck off service in 1992. Official records indicate that in all the rudder accrued a total of 10,861 flight hours and 3,724 landings, primarily upon G-BOAC, before being retired.
We are offering two variants of our Concorde From Concorde cufflinks, with backing plates and cufflink arms of either sterling silver or 18ct gold. The links are presented in a high quality case and accompanied by certificate of authenticity in verification of the metals involved in the cufflinks' creation.
